Charles Franklin Chalker

Graveside funeral services for Charles Franklin Chalker, age 81 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Chalker was born September 30, 1938 in Blundale, Georgia. He was the son of the late Marie Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his son, Steve Eugene Chalker. He was a member of the Dublin 1609 Moose Lodge. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was retired from Southeast Paper Company. Mr. Chalker passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Chalker is survived by his wife, Opal Chalker of Swainsboro, 2 sons, William Charles Chalker of Gastonia, NC, and John Andrew Chalker of Swainsboro, a stepson John Martin of Statesboro, a stepdaughter, Debra Martin of Ohio, a brother, Glynn Chalker of Swainsboro, and 13 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
