Aaron Cleon Maddox

Funeral services for Aaron Cleon Maddox, age 77 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 6, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gene Hemingway and Rev. Stanley Roberts will officiate. Mr. Maddox was born September 13, 1943, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Cleon Aaron and Myrtle Brown Maddox. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Lenton Maddox. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and Company and the Laurens County Tax Commissioners Office. He was a member of Bluewater Baptist Church. Mr. Maddox passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Addington Place of Dublin. Mr. Maddox is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Sissy" Robinson Maddox of Dublin, a number of first cousins, and their families, as well as family by marriage. Pallbearers will be Dewitt Moses, Steve Brown, Jeff Brown, Taylor Thompkins, Tyler Green, and Trevor Green. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
