Addie Mae Caulder

Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Mae Caulder, age 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Young. Mrs. Caulder was born October 12, 1928 in Dillon, South Carolina; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Walter Sweat and Martha Berry Sweat. She was also preceded in death by her son Corporal Durwood Caulder and a daughter, Cathy Lynn Caulder. She was a gold star mother. She was a homemaker and a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Caulder passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at her residence. She is survived by her 2 sons, Hubbard "Chief" (Judy) Caulder of Dexter, and Daniel Lee (Bambi) Caulder of Niceville, FL, 3 daughters, Diane (Rudy) Young of Florence, SC, and Geraldine (Michael) Watford of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Vicky (Brian) Hearne of Atlanta, a brother, Johnny (Brenda) Sweat of Kannapolis, NC, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, her partner of 30 years, Russell L. Turner and a special friend, Emily Buford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wesley Covington, Pete Clifton, Trae Browder, Cameron Browder, Robert Caulder and Gerald Caulder. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
