Alan Charles Walker

Funeral services for Alan Charles Walker, age 62 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Ivey Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Louis Pearce and Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate.

Mr. Walker was born June 16, 1961, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Avis Ivey Walker. He was employed for many years at Walker's Service Station. He was a member of Ivey Baptist Church. He loved his kids and his family and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan and Nascar Fan. Mr. Walker passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife Alicia H. Walker of Wrightsville;  father, Charles Walker of Wrightsville; 2 sons, Brad (Heather) Walker of Wrightsville, and Bryan Cooper of Wrightsville, 2 daughters, Amanda (Tony) Handberry of Wadley, and Jessica Walker of East Dublin; 2 sisters, Cynthia (Cal) Chester of Wrightsville, and Dianne Grimes of Twin City; and 10 grandchildren, Dakota Walker, Tyson Grant, Ava Grant, Nathan Turberville, Hailey Walker, Emma Mullis, Brayden Walker, Kamden Walker, Alaya Cooper, and Nalani Cooper.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Greenway, Blake Greenway, Robbie Johnson, Larry Johnson, and David Durden.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Ivey Baptist Church.
