Alexander Vincent Edgecomb, 3 months old, left us to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Scottish Rite Children's Hospital of Atlanta. Xander was born on October 9, 2020 in Dublin, Georgia. He was dearly loved by his sisters and left a lasting impact on anyone who saw his face. A true blessing to all. Xander was preceded in death by his uncle, Cord Edgecomb. He is survived by his parents, Kyle Vincent Edgecomb and Rebecca Baldwin Edgecomb of Dublin, sisters, Allison Edgecomb and Madelyn Edgecomb of Dublin, grandparents, Robert Baldwin of Jackson, Michelle Baldwin of Jacksonville, FL, Susan Edgecomb of Dublin, and the late Ralph "Vinny" Edgecomb, and great grandmothers, Maureen Blakely of Dublin, and Cynthia Ware of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2021 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hardeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect and mask will be required by those attending as we are following the guidelines of the local health district and the CDC. The service will be livestreamed on the Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, 1575 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30329. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
