Alfredo Louis Mimbs, Iii

Alfredo L. Mimbs, III, age 71 of East Dublin, passed away from heart complications at Fairview Park Hospital on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Bethlehem Church Cemetery. Mr. Kevin Tanner will officiate. He retired in 1982, after 20 years of service, from the United States Air force. He touched the hearts and lives of many and would give to anyone in need. He will truly be missed by his family, friends, and members of James Wells Memorial Amateur Radio Club and Dublin Amateur Radio Club. He was preceded in death by his father, William H. (Fat Boy) Mimbs, Sr. and mother, Carmen Costas Mimbs, and brother William H.(Bill) Mimbs, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Evelyn Grier, a niece and nephew, and numberous relatives. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to help with funeral cost. An account will be set up at First Laurens Bank, 2240 Veterans Blvd, Dublin, Georgia. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
