Alice Fay Carver

A private graveside service for Alice Fay Carver, age 83 will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.

Mrs. Carver was born March 31, 1940, in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Reeder and Zonia Williams Reeder. She was a homemaker. She left a legacy of being one of the kindest, sweetest, most gentle people that you would ever meet, but most of all she was known to her family as a great mom, wife, and sister. She also was a great golfer. Mrs. Carver passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Piedmont Macon Medical Center.

Mrs. Carver is survived by her husband, Louis Carver; a son, Michael Louis Carver; a daughter, Vauna Kay (Tracy) Waller; a sister, Myrtle "Duckie" Ellenberger, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the funeral home.
