Alice Rose Moye

Funeral services for Alice Rose Moye, 90, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel in Wrightsville. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Chris Mitchell will officiate.

Mrs. Moye was born on November 26, 1932, in Numa, Iowa to parents, Doyle Edward and Fanny May LaRue Arbogast. She worked as a greeter for many years at Walmart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Kelly Moye of Wrightsville, Georgia, two sons, Brian Edward Moye and Gregory Alan Moye, two brothers, Kenneth Arbogast and Wayne Arbogast, and sister Maxine Powers. Mrs. Moye passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Southland Care Center.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Mary Moye of Avoca, IA, and grandchildren, Peyton Burch, Jennifer Moye and Will Smith, who she adored.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or AARP in Mrs. Moye's memory.
