Alice Thompson

Graveside funeral services for Alice Jones Thompson, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate. Mrs. Thompson was born August 28, 1937 in Eastman, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Austin and Rosa Lee Jones. She has made her home in Laurens County for the past 57 years and was retired from Alice's Resale Shop after 22 years. Mrs. Thompson passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 She is survived by her husband Ray Thompson of Dublin, a son, Johnnie (Kim) Thompson of Dublin, a daughter, Kris Penly of Dublin, 5 brothers, Jack Jones ,Wayne Jones, Ray Jones, Danny Jones all of Dublin and Ronnie Jones of Macon, a sister, Debbie Jones of Dublin, her grandchildren, Gracie Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Hope Thompson, Nathan Bude, Kalep Penly and her great-grandchildren, Alex & Charlie Bude. Pallbearers will be Al Kimball, Andy Kimball, Tommy Graham, Ken Graham, Darrien Jones and Quint Jones. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
