Amber Johnson

Graveside funeral services for Amber Leighann Johnson, age 24, will be held at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Kersey Family Cemetery with Pastor Todd Shearin officiating. Miss Johnson was born December 20, 1994 in Dublin, Georgia but has made her home in Johnson County her entire life. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, the late Janice Atkinson, Colleen Kersey and Cleon P. Johnson. She loved being outdoors, riding four wheelers and attending mudboggings. Having numerous dirt track racers in her family, you could find Amber at a racetrack on any given Saturday night cheering them on. She passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 following an extended illness. She is survived by her mother, April Michell Johnson of Wrightsville, her father, Jamey Walker of Kite, two sons, Lee Duffee and Matt Duffee both of Wrightsville, two brothers, Brandon "BB" Burgamy of Wrightsville and Skyler Walker of Kite, her step-father, Jottie Burgamy, her grandparents, Ray & Sharlene McCoy of Wrightsville, Norma Johnson of Swainsboro, Jan & Eddy Stevens of Jeffersonville and Donnie Burgamy of Wrightsville, a special aunt & uncle, Joni & Chris Martin of Milledgeville, her fiancé, Lance Black of Kite and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements
