Ammie Cook Mckinley

Graveside services for Mrs. Ammie Cook McKinley, age 95, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, 2020 in Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Hutto and Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Mrs. McKinley was born on June 19, 1925 in Pringle, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. Cook and Virginia Hood Cook. During her life she worked at the Fuse Plant in Milledgeville during the war, worked as a bank teller in Wrightsville, and worked at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Marie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Kelly McKinley. Mrs. McKinley passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Serenity Place Hospice. She is survived by her sons, Terry McKinley and Eli McKinley of Dublin, grandchildren, Cole McKinley and Jordan McKinley, and great-grandchildren, Asher and Stormy McKinley. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Place Hospice, 504 Parker Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
