Annie Pearl Andrews

A celebration of life for Mrs. Annie Pearl Shuman Andrews, age 84, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Dublin with interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Wrightsville. Rev. Myron Wise and Rev. Don Hicks will officiate. Mrs. Andrews was born September 23, 1932 in Statesboro, Georgia but was raised in Johnson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late William Thomas Shuman and Ida Pearl Nutler Andrews, her husband, Julian Wordlaw Andrews, Jr., two sons, James Daniel Andrews and Terry Neal Andrews, a granddaughter, Sharon Watson Holman, two brothers, William Thomas Shuman, Jr. & J.W. Shuman and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Shuman Locke and Letha Shuman Warren. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was retired from J.P. Stevens & Company. She was also employed by Evans Disposal Service. Mrs. Andrews passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. She is survived by four sons, William "Billy" Thomas Andrews of East Dublin, Richard Charles (Peggy) Andrews of Dublin, Tony (Jetta) Andrews of Dublin and Julian David (Tina) Andrews of East Dublin, two daughters, Teresa Jean Andrews Watson of St. Petersburg, FL and Gloria Ann (Tony) Martin of Rentz, a sister, Jean Shuman Snellgrove of Orange Park, FL, seven grandchildren, Brandon David Andrews, Phillip Allan Overstreet, Heather Nicole Andrews, Danielle Maria Andrews Halverson, Christy Diane Andrews, Joshua Wade McCoy, James Toby Martin and Mary Elizabeth Green, nine great-grandchildren, Abby Martin, Kayson Ford Martin, Madison Nicole Soles, Alissa Hope Halverson, Konner Allen Andrews, Ashley Holmen, Colten McCoy, Cohen McCoy and Landon McCoy and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eddie Andrews, Joshua McCoy, Jackie Shuman, William Hart, Jimmy Goins, David Pearl Snellgrove, Kenny Andrews and Michael Carter. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
