Annie "Ann" Elizabeth Coleman

Funeral services for Annie “Ann” Elizabeth Coleman, age 81 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. Coleman was born September 3, 1944, in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Carter and Gladys Virginia Walker Carter. She was a 1962 graduate of Wrightsville High School. She attended Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene. She was a retired bus driver for the Johnson County Board of Education. She was also a cosmetologist. Mrs. Coleman passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, Ronald Ray Coleman of Wrightsville; a daughter, Elizabeth “Cissy” Moye (Tony) of Wrightsville; a sister, Johnnie Carter Leach (Wayne) of Dublin; 2 grandchildren, Shadonna Armstrong, and Sherlissa Taylor Taylor; and 3 great-grandchildren, Aleiyah Phillips, Jeniyah Phillips, and Suri Coates.

Pallbearers will be Chris Burns, Donny Wilkerson, Tremaine Young, Levon Jenkins, Mike Soles, and Shane Nelson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the funeral home.
