Ardel Lawrence Crispin, age 85, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at his residence.


Mr. Crispin was born on October 1, 1939, in Kane, Pennsylvania to the late Lawrence and Mildred Mason Crispin. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a Rotary member, and member and deacon of Mt. Tabor Original Free Will Baptist Church in Creswell. NC. He retired from Dominion Energy after 32 years of service. Mr. Crispin moved to Adrian from Creswell, NC and attended Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Chase Tyler.


He is survived by his wife F. Jean Crispin of Adrian, son Ryan (Britney) Crispin of Adrian, two daughters Nikki (Tim Sorrell) Tyler of Smithfield, NC and Marsha (Brian) Hancock of Fuquay-Varina, NC, brother Earl Crispin of TX, sister Trenna (Jerry) Perkins of Raleigh, NC, eight grandchildren, Gabe Thomas, Lilly Crispin, Liza Crispin, Autumn Crispin, Trey (Brittni) Tyler, Jordan Hancock, Reagan Hancock and Emily (Rickie) Williamson and three great grandchildren Lola Tyler, Cameron Tyler and Jackson Tyler.


Memorial services will be announced at a later time.


Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of arrangements.
