Ashley James Webb

Ashley James Webb passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Shamrock Nursing Home in Dublin, GA.

Ashley was born on June 11, 1946, in Laurens County, GA to Ashley Merle Webb and Helen Braddy Webb who preceded him in death. He was employed by the Dublin Fire Department for 34 years before his retirement in 2004. He always spoke fondly of his friends in the Fire Department and considered them his family. Ashley is remembered for his jovial attitude. He always had a story to tell and was a joy to be around. He was very generous and would give anything he had to show others that he appreciated them. He was a devoted caregiver to his mother as she struggled with Alzheimer's. In his later years you could still see a glimmer of his wonderful disposition through his smile. He now resides in the Presence of our Lord. He will missed abundantly by all who knew him. Ashley attended First Methodist Church for many years but joined Bethsaida Baptist Church and was baptized in 2008.

Ashley is survived by a son Ashley Scott Webb, daughter Suzanne Webb (Lane) Pate and grandson McNeill Pate of Peachtree City, GA, and brother Jerry Gene Webb of Dublin.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, in the chapel at Stanley Funeral Home in Dublin, GA. Rev. Curtis Koscheski will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. The City of Dublin Firemen will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow the services at the Piney Mount Cemetery near Wrightsville, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kid's Cup at 2111 Claxton Dairy Rd Dublin GA 31021.
