Barbara Alice Moore

Funeral services for Barbara Alice Moore, age 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2025 in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Daniels will officiate.

Mrs. Moore was born November 30, 1935, in Jefferson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Sam William Johnson and Beatrice Wright Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Danny Cecil Moore; and 4 siblings, a brother and 3 sisters. She was a retired seamstress from Apparel Brands. She was a member of First Assembly of God. She enjoyed cooking, playing with her puppy, walking outside in the sunshine, watching her favorite shows on television, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Moore passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at Comfort Creek Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Wadley.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her son, Stevie Loftin of Wrightsville; and 4 grandchildren, Marilon Loftin, Madison Loftin, Halen Loftin, and Mack Bryan, and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will recieve friends from1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2025 at the funeral home.
