Barbara Pope

Funeral services for Barbara D. Pope, age 90, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Hutto officiating.

Mrs. Pope was born on October 20, 1933, in Rentz, Georgia. She was a member of Marie Baptist Church and the Red Hat Ladies Society. She was a retired telephone operator with Southern Bell and a retired caterer with Betty Williams Cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents Robbie and Christine Woodard Daniel, siblings, Lamar Daniel, H.W. "Hub" Daniel, Jean Braswell, and Mike Daniel, and her husband, Benny Pope. Mrs. Pope passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at James Place.

She is survived by her daughter, Patti (George) Brack of Allentown, brother, Billy (Martha) Daniel of Rentz, grandchild, Allyson (Forrest) Jones, great grandchild, Cody Griggers, and several nieces and nephews.
