Barbara Frances Raffield

Ms. Barbara F. Raffield, age 83 died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Serenity Place in Dublin. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donnie Baker officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Ms. Raffield was born February 23, 1936 in Swainsboro, Georgia. She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church, was a resident of Laurens County for the past sixty years and was retired from Mohawk Carpet Company. She was the daughter of the late Jim Edenfield and Onie Myrl Brogdon Edenfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband James L. Raffield and her brother Jimmy Edenfield. She is survived by daughters Elaine (Greg) Benefield of Warner Robins, Elisa Nix of East Dublin, and Myrlene R. Gay of East Dublin, by a son Richard E. Raffield of East Dublin, by seven grandchildren, Cole Raffield, Chris (Megan) Benefield, Alissa (Kevin) Enckler, Dustyn (Karlee) Nix, Blake (Jessica) Nix, Aaron Gay, and Caleb Gay, and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Serenity Place, 504 Parker Dairy Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
