Barbara Jean Rainey

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jean Rainey, age 65, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Rainey was born November 19, 1950 in Winter Haven, Florida; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Wayne Leroy Smith and Ruby Deese Smith. Mrs. Rainey passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Sam Rainey of Dublin, her children, James (Robin) Rainey of Dexter, Micheal (Tabatha) Rainey of Dublin, David Rainey of Dublin and Eloise (Randall) Atkinson of East Dublin, a brother, Wayne Leroy Smith, Jr. of Dublin, seven grandchildren, Adam Burdeshaw, James Rainey, Jr., Casey Mason, Ashley Williams, Troy Rainey, Dustin Smith and Chasidy Smith and four great-grandchildren, Bryson Burdeshaw, Bailey Mason, Annaleigh Mason and Cayson Rainey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
