Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Evans Taylor, age 68 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 29, 2014 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Handley and Rev. Jeff Merritt will officiate. Mrs. Taylor was born on March 1, 1946 in Rentz, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Robert Steppie and Ollie Mae Schell Evans. She was retired from BILJO. She was a member of Baker Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Roy Lamar Taylor of Dublin, 2 sons, Robbie (Michelle) Baggett of Adrian, and Ashley (Kris) Baggett of Rentz, 2 daughters, Lora (Reed) Mimbs of East Dublin, and Amy Szekely of East Dublin, a brother, Ray (Helen) Evans of Dublin, a sister, Kay Rowe of Dublin, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tyler Mimbs, Dylan Baggett, Derek Harden, Alan Harden, Joddie Edge, and Ed Woodard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
