Beatrice Logue Dollar

Funeral services for Beatrice Logue Dollar, age 89 will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 24, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jody Martin will officiate. Mrs. Dollar was born on December 12, 1926 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Benjamin Logue, Sr. and Lola Tanner Logue. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Van Dollar, Sr., a sister, Alice McRae, and 5 brothers, George A. Logue, W.G. Logue, Jr., Cecil Logue, John G. Logue, and Carl Logue. She retired as Plant Manager from Apparelcraft and Crowntex at the age of 78. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wrightsville United Methodist Circuit. Mrs. Dollar passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Serenity Place. Mrs. Dollar is survived by her 2 sons, Van (Carliss) Dollar of Dublin, and Ray Dollar of Dublin, 5 grandchildren, Bobby (Carla) Dollar, Denise (Jim) Pharis, Brad Dollar, Marcie Dickerson, Bert (Lisa) Dollar, 11 great grandchildren, Matthew Townsend, Daniel Dollar, Heather Pharis, Jaylon Townsend, Allison Dollar, James Pharis, Michaela Dollar, Madison Bell, Devin Dollar, Jackson Dollar, and Abigail Dollar. Pallbearers will be Bobby Dollar, Brad Dollar, Bert Dollar, Jim Pharis, Matthew Townsend, and Daniel Dollar. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3: 45 P.M. on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
