Betty Bracewell

Funeral services for Betty Lou Brantley Bracewell, age 90, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Donnie Baker and Rev. L.T. Logue officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bracewell was born on November 4, 1935, in Brewton, Georgia. She was the former owner and operator of the Brer Rabbit Dining Room and the Shamrock Dining Room. She was a member of Oconee Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Grady Brantley and Evi Curl Brantley, her siblings, Eva Perry, Shirley Lovett, Agnes Knight, Faye Brantley, James Brantley, Charles Brantley, W.G. Brantley, and Jerry Brantley and a son-in-law, Rev. Greg Lowery. Mrs. Bracewell passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Henry Earl Bracewell of Dublin; four daughters, Terry Swinson (Charles) of Glenwood, Betty Kay Lowery of Cadwell, Edie T. Windham (Michael) of Dublin and Monica Bracewell Boyd (Brian) of Newnan; two sons, Perry Tindol (Tammy) of Hartwell and Mark Bracewell (Tina) of Dublin; seventeen grandchildren, Daniel Tindol, Brian Tindol, Tara Veal, Patrick Swinson, Will Lowery, Josh Lowery, Elissa Aycock, Amanda Vonier, Melissa Fraser, Alex Bracewell, Caitlan Stiles, Kinsey Bracewell, Tripp Bracewell, Aubree Bracewell, Riley Boyd, Brianna Traywick and Jordan Boyd; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Daniel Tindol, Brian Tindol, Patrick Swinson, Will Lowery, Josh Lowery, Alex Bracewell and Riley Boyd.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
