Betty Jean Garnto

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Garnto, age 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Danny Thomas and Rev. Charles Kyzer will officiate. Mrs. Garnto was born January 19, 1936 in Wrightsville, Georgia: she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Robert Alton Moye and Rosa Mae Jordan Moye. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was retired as a clerk from Troup Drugs. Mrs. Garnto passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Carl Garnto, two sons, Stan (Brenda) Garnto and Scotty Garnto all of Wrightsville, her daughter, Melanie Cobb of Milledgeville, a brother, Phil (Linda) Moye of Wrightsville and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until funeral hour Monday, August 13, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rob Garnto, Wes Cobb, Cory Parker, Nicky Benton, Billy Moye and Bobby Moye. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
