Betty Lawrence

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Joyce Price Tingle Lawrence, age 79, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Scott Osborne and Rev. Chad Waller will officiate. Mrs. Lawrence was born July 28, 1937 in Sandersville, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Emanuel Bridges Price, Sr. and Lottie Viola Jones Price Stanford and her husband, Jerry Moses Lawrence. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was formerly employed as an accountant for Zayre. Mrs. Lawrence passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at her residence. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Tingle of Wrightsville and Darrell (Lisa) Tingle of Eastman, a daughter, Sherry J. (William) Roberts of Wrightsville, three brothers, Jerry (Evelyn) Price of Watkinsville, Wendell (Peggy) Price of Warner Robins and E.B. Price of Waycross, 9 grandchildren, Thomas Tingle, Corey Tingle, Jessie Tingle, Jerry Ellison, J.P. Poole, Brett Tingle, Megan Tingle, Dalton Webb and London Brown and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
