Betty Jane Waller

Funeral services for Betty Jane Waller, age 84 will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Waller was born December 10, 1941, in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas Tingle, Sr. and Selma Duggan Tingle. She was also preceded in death by her son Phil Waller, and a brother, James Thomas Tingle, Jr. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired Activity Director for the Heritage Inn of Sandersville. Mrs. Waller passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Heritage Inn of Sandersville.

Mrs. Waller is survived by her husband, Phillip Waller of Wrightsville; 2 sons, Gary Waller (Cindy) of Wrightsville, and Chad Waller (Melinda) of Simpsonville, SC; a daughter, Tonya Mixon (Barry) of Harrison; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Casey Garrett, Stacy Waller, Russ Tanner, Tony Marshall, Nathan Smith, and Kelley Wyatt.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 A.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
