Bill Herringdine

Funeral services for Mr. William Cecil "Bill" Herringdine, age 63, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Brown Memorial Baptist Church with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Michael Bailey and Rev. Hugh Baxter will officiate. Mr. Herringdine was born November 19, 1955 in Adrian, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Marvin Cecil Herringdine and Georgia Elizabeth "Libby" Parker Herringdine. He was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of HES Security Systems. Bill was a big animal lover who loved his cats and enjoyed spending his spare time doing odd jobs around his shop. Mr. Herringdine passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Herringdine of Meeks, a brother, Wayne (Pat) Herringdine of Wrightsville, two nieces, Kristy (Lawrence) Kasmen of Atlanta and Karen (Shane) Nelson of Wrightsville, great nieces and nephews, Hayden Kasmen, Ryan Kasmen, Mackey Giddens and Mia Nelson, father and mother-in-law, Randy & Nadean Moore and his special friend and co-worker, Craig Kirkpatrick. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Shane Nelson, Craig Kirkpatrick, Rex Powell, Charles Blackburn, Curtis Herringdine and Lawrence Kasmen. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
