Graveside funeral services for Billy Aron Devaney, age 64 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 25, 2014 in the Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Currie and Rev. Harold Thornton will officiate. Mr. Devaney was born on April 12, 1950 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late William Robert and Nan Lee Mullis Devaney. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of Baker Baptist Church. He was retired from Brooks Berry Hayne Construction Company. He was a farmer. Mr. Devaney passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Devaney is survived by his loving wife, Denise Devaney of Rentz, his 3 daughters, Billie (Steven ) Devaney Stanley of Jesup, Heather (Brandon) Devaney Sutphin of Rentz, and Brittany Devaney of Rentz, 3 brothers, Earl Devaney of Dublin, Terry (Diane) Devaney of Dublin, and Allen (Debbie) Devaney of Dublin, 2 sisters, Barbara Woodard of Dublin, and Chistrine Holton of Dublin, and 5 grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
