Billy Joe Knight

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Knight, age 80, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Mr. Shane Knight officiating. Mr. Knight was born January 19, 1935 in Dublin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late, Elton Francis Knight and Mamie Clyde Mullis Knight and his wife, Roma Faye Woodard Knight. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He retired from Bibb County as a firefighter. Mr. Knight passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He is survived by his sons, Raymond Joe (Susan) Knight of Dexter, Dewayne (Kay) Knight of Dudley and Kevin (Tabitha) Knight of Dudley, two sisters, Mona Evans of Macon and Gilda Ford of Suwanee and seven grandchildren, Shasta Rogers, Monica Knight, Joey Knight, Colby Knight, Ashley Knight, Danielle Knight and Alex Knight. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
