Graveside funeral services for Billy Ray Manning, age 64 will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Randy Mimbs will officiate.
Mr. Manning was born June 16, 1954 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Gurvice and Joyce Simmons Manning. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lea Manning Hunnicut. He was the owner and operator of Manning Farms. He was a member of the Laurens County Cattlemen's Association and was also a board member for the Laurens County Farm Bureau. Mr. Manning passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Manning is survived by his loving wife, Alecia Manning of Alamo, 2 sons, Adam (Donna) Buchanan, and Chris (Tonya) Manning of Cobbtown, 2 daughters, Katarina Manning of Alamo, and Becky Bailey of Cleveland, 2 brothers, Alvin Manning of Fitzgerald and Boyce Manning, 2 sisters, Myrtle McGaw of Savannah, and Cindy Watson of Nashville, and 7 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alan Gay, Tommy Spell, David Faye, Dennis Barr, Tracy Butler, and Tony Martin.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
