Billy Keith Shiver

Graveside funeral services for Billy Keith Shiver, age 55, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Shiver Family Cemetery, 460 Turkey Creek Circle, with Rev. Steve Hardeman officiating. Mr. Shiver was born June 4, 1966, in Dublin, Georgia. He was an outdoorsman that loved fishing, hunting and being on the river. He loved being on his land and tending to his garden. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Dublin Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Vangela Shiver, and a daughter, Jesse Marie Shiver. Mr. Shiver passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Shiver of Dublin, two sons, Jordan Shiver and Johnathan Shiver of Dublin, a daughter, Kelli Shiver of Tampa, FL, brother, Mike Shiver of East Dublin, special uncle, Phillip (JoAnne) Shiver of East Dublin, three step daughters, Lauren (Kyle) Ware and Ashley Caldwell of Dublin, and Katherine Christopher of Wrightsville, step siblings, Clay Garnto of Vidalia, Becky Hines of Dublin, and Angie Peacock of Gray, step father, Danny Garnto of McIntyre, best friends, Craig Sharpe of Statesboro and Wade Sharpe of Dublin, and several grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kyle Ware, Craig Sharpe, Wade Sharpe, Jordan Shiver, Wes Foskey, and Brett Padgett. The remains will lie in state from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
