Bobby Gene Allen

Bobby was a resident of Dexter, Ga and passed away peacefully at his home on July 9th, 2024.

The day before, was his 60th birthday. He spent it surrounded by his grandchildren and daughters, whom he adored very much. He died a happy man.

Bobby enjoyed gardening and took much pride in his famous tomatoes. He spent most of his life working at Robins Air Force Base, where he took much pride in his work, before later retiring. During his lifetime, adventure was at the top of his list. He treated life as such, an adventure. He was always up for a roadtrip or anything that brought a spark to his eye. One thing about Bobby, when life gave him lemons, he made the sweetest lemonade. He was known as the best B-Pop to his granddaughters and spoiled them beyond recognition. He adored his Aunt Elizabeth, who became his caregiver later in life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Allen; mother, Sara Jean Allen; brother, Larry Allen; and his beloved son Gordon Randall Allen.

He is survived by his two daughters, Bridgette Cowart (Justin Cowart) and Nicole Eberling (Nick Eberling). His brother, Michael Allen. His granddaughters Charleigh McCook, Bailey Eberling, and Maci Eberling. And his dog Duke, whom was his greatest companion. Several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will be receiving visitors at 2272 Barron Lane Dexter, Ga on Friday, July 12th from 12pm-2pm. No service will be held.
