Bobby Steve Garner

Funeral services for Bobby Steve Garner, age 82 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 26, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Tom Dominy and Elder Lee Price will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the funeral home.

Mr. Garner was born September 24, 1941, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Robert Lester and Margie Holmes Garner. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Garner. He retired from J.P. Stevens and Company. Mr. Garner passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

Mr. Garner is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Y. Garner of Dublin, a sister, Susie Garner of Dublin, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Young, Kyle Dominy, Jordan Dominy, Skippy Hendricks, and Clint Lawrence.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Bazemore, Jimmy Rogers, and Harry Graham.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
