Bobby Gene Holton

Funeral services for Bobby Gene Holton, age 84 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2026, at Baker Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers will officiate.

Mr. Holton was born August 7, 1942, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Louis Holton and Alma Polk Holton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Killingsworth Holton; and a son, Mike Holton. He was the last surviving sibling of six brothers. He was a retired Mechanic and Wrecker Driver at Claxton Lawrence Ford. He was a member of Baker Baptist Church. Mr. Holton passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital surrounded by family.

Mr. Holton is survived by his daughter, Renea (Darrel) Bolden; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Holton Lawrence; 4 grandchildren, Chassidy (Josh) Bedingfield, Amber (Blake) Coleman, Lauren (Jacob) Gwynne, and Ryley Bolden; and 3 great-grandchildren, Gunner Coleman, Lane Bedingfield, and Brax Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake Coleman, Josh Bedingfield, Jacob Gwynne, Darrel Bolden, Van Savage, Jimmy Stewart, Johnny Holton, and Robert Lowell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Usher’s of Baker Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2026, at Baker Baptist Church.
