Bobby Scarbrough

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Scarbrough, age 69 will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto and Rev. Randy Mimbs will officiate. Mr. Scarbrough was born on April 17, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Horace Thomas and Mary Lizzie Maddox Scarborough. He was retired as the Department Manager for Forstman and Company Dublin Plant. He was a member of Marie Baptist Church. Mr. Scarbrough passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Scarbrough is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann Dixon Scarbrough of Dublin, a son, Alan (Leslie) Scarbrough of Cedar Grove, a daughter, Beverly (Tim) Brantley of Allentown, 3 brothers, Charles (Mary Ellen) Scarbrough of East Dublin, H.T. (Arlene) Scarborough of East Dublin, and Rickey (Linda) Scarbrough of East Dublin, 2 sisters, Patsy S. (Wiley) Beall of Dublin, Hilda S. (Tony) Wynne of Dublin, 4 grandchildren, Cody Brantley, Morgan B. (Justin) Williamson, Alex Scarbrough, and Natalie Scarbrough, and 1 great grandchild, Ivey Rae Williamson. Pallbearers will be Cody Brantley, Alex Scarbrough, Justin Williamson, Brian Scarborough, Charlie Scarbrough, and Dennis W. Dixon, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
