Bobby Joe Thomas

Mr. Bobby Joe Thomas, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Southland Health and Rehab. Mr. Thomas was born on December 27, 1939 in Eastman, Georgia. He was the son of the late Walter and Effie McCullars Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Phillips Thomas. He served in the United States Navy. He was retired from the maintenance department at Southland Health and Rehab. Mr. Thomas is survived by his children, Bobby Joe Thomas, Jr. of CA, and Ann Marie Thomas of CA, a stepson, David Allen of Dublin, 4 brothers, Everett (Javene) Thomas of Eastman, Jerry (Pat) Thomas of Eastman, Walt (Annese) Thomas of Marietta, and Billy (Patricia) Thomas of Mableton, and 2 sisters, Brenda (Horace) Dinkins of Macon, and Linda (Robert) Reece of Canton. There will be no services. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
