Bobby Laray Willis

Funeral services for Bobby LaRay Willis, age 78 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Bethesda Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Baron Powell will officiate.

Mr. Willis was born May 2, 1944, in Soperton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Jake Allen and Annie Lois Webb Willis. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, James Edward Willis, Marjorie Peacock, and Ruby Walker. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Farmers Furniture Company. Mr. Willis passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Willis is survived by his 3 sons, Stevie L. Willis of Dublin, John Christopher Willis of Dublin, and Jeffrey Scott Willis of Wrightsville, a brother, Freddie Willis of Lothair, a sister, Linda Dykes of Vidalia, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Claxton, Elijah Willis, Carter Willis, Kyle Garner, Adam Buchanan, Franklin Stinson, and Lee Avery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Bethesda Baptist Church.
