Bonnie Jean Lackey

Memorial services for Mrs. Bonnie Jean Lackey, age 62 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Gethsemane United Methodist Church with lunch to follow after the service. Rev. Tommy Veal and Rev. Judd Drake will officiate. Mrs. Lackey was born on September 19, 1954 in Griffin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Henry M. and Annie Pearl Tucker Mask. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Cain Cardon . She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church. She was a retired from the Laurens County School System. Mrs. Lackey passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Lackey is survived by her husband, Samuel Lackey of Rockledge, 2 sons, Jason Mathew Lackey of Dublin, and Daniel Shane Lackey of Rockledge, a daughter, Samantha Lackey Smith of Newnan, and 5 grandchildren, Samuel Mason Smith, Brandon Michael Lackey, Laurynn Meadow Lackey, Jason Tucker Lackey, and Mattilynn Marie Lackey. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Lackey to Promise of Hope Ministries at 1257 Wayne Road, Dudley, Georgia 31022. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
