A celebration of life for Brandon Ryan Winfrey, age 39, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Fortner Clubhouse on Fortner Road in Kite, Georgia. Rev. Burton Dixon will officiate.
Brandon was born September 22, 1981, in Swainsboro, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Winfrey, his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Julian Winfrey, Mr. & Mrs. Roger Powell, Ms. Virginia Frost, and Mr. Harry Soles, and his brother, Chris Soles.
Brandon was well-known for being very outspoken; he truly had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He also had a genuine love for his K-9 companions, Ruckus, Louie, and Omar. Brandon was a 2000 graduate of Johnson County High School and worked at Robins Air Force Base. However, his favorite job was being a daddy to Maddox.
He is survived by his wife, Rana, his son, Maddox Quinn, both of Wrightsville, his parents, James and Diane Soles of Wrightsville and Joy Winfrey of Kite, his siblings Craig and Amanda Winfrey and Bryson and Taylor Rowland of Kite, and Taylor and Heather Clements of Wrightsville. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Melissa Soles, of Adrian, his mother-in-law, Linda Powell, of Wrightsville, and four nieces and seven nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Crawford, Phillip Crawford, Clay Hall, Justin Hightower, Cale Parker, and Brandon Roberson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to an education fund for Maddox at the Bank of Wrightsville.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
