Brenda Passmore Steptoe

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Joyce Passmore Steptoe, age 73, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the East Dublin Day Spring Worship Center with burial to follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Rowland and Rev. Myron Wise will officiate. Mrs. Steptoe was born October 28, 1945 in Dublin, GA, she was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Mickey Passmore. She worked for Mohawk Industries. She loved her family and her church family. She always put God first. She was the best mama in the world to her kids. She never left Renee's side while she was in the hospital and was there when she needed her most. She loved all dogs as well. She loved to cook and kept everyone fed. She never met a stranger and never shirked a task. Mrs. Steptoe passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She is survived by her husband Billy Steptoe of East Dublin, her daughter Renee E. (Ivan) Wise of Sandersville, nieces Teresa Moll, Dee Young, Kim (Mike) Lancaster and Georgia Butler, and nephew Will (Chris) Young. Pallbearers will be Keith Wheeler, John Pace, Raymond Hall, Nathan Brantley, Joey Beacham, and Black Garrett. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Last Chance Ministries c/o Rev. Curt Poole, 592 Eugene Ward Rd, Adrian, GA 31002. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
