Brian Frank Thomas, age 49 passed away suddenly Friday, September 6, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Thomas was born September 30, 1974, in Dublin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Gordon and Annie Thomas, and J.M. "Big Fat Papa" Brown and Louise Brown. He served 20 years in his law enforcement career with 17 years of that in Laurens County as a Deputy Sheriff with the rank of Sergeant. He was also a Heavy Equipment Sales Representative for Great American, Inc. in East Dublin. He loved being surrounded by friends who he always treated like his own family. He will be remembered by his sarcasm and unique sense of humor.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Monica Thomas of Glenwood; his parents, Frank and Peggy Thomas of Dublin; 3 children, Luke (Kaylyn Smith) Thomas of Dublin, Beth (Kyle Caputo) Coody of Montrose, and Brook (Jeremy) Yarbrough of Claxton; 2 sisters, Pam (Todd) Woodard of Dexter, and Crystal (Kendall) Graham of Dublin; 2 grandchildren, Briar Yarbrough, and Jason Thomas; 2 pet companions, Tweak, and Spaz; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Thomas will be memorialized by cremation with no services at this time.
