Burnette M. Watson

Graveside funeral services for Burnette M. Watson, age 84 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Mr. Dan Aldridge, Mr. Daniel Carter, and Rev. Doug Bridges will officiate.

Mrs. Watson was born December 19, 1939, in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William D. "Bill" Dudley and Eloise Stewart Dudley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Watson, and a sister, Brenda Howell. She was a retired school bus driver for the Laurens County School System where she proudly served for 24 years. She was of the Nazarene Faith. Mrs. Watson passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her 3 sons, Lance (Carla) Watson of East Dublin, Rex (Karen) Watson of East Dublin, Cliff (Lori) Watson of East Dublin, 4 daughters, Sherry Watson of East Dublin, Gay (Stacey) Shepherd of East Dublin, Terresa (Ken) Ivey of East Dublin, Ginger (Rickey) Carter of East Dublin, 2 brothers, Jack (Carolyn) Dudley of Bonair, and Ronny (Julie) Dudley of Camilla, a sister, Barbara (Curt) Brown of East Dublin, 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watson's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
