Burts V. Register

Graveside services for Mr. Burts. V. Register, age 86, will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Rentz City Cemetery with Rev. Tom Vann officiating. Mr. Register was born on April 4, 1934 in Rentz, Georgia to the late William Henry Register Sr. and Allie Grinstead Register. Burts retired from Warner Robins Airforce Base, and was retired owner and operator of Rentz Bus Line and Register TV and Appliance. He was a member of Rentz Baptist Church. Mr. Register passed away Sunday, August 09, 2020 at Serenity Place Hospice. Mr. Register was a loyal and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was always willing to help a neighbor in need. He instilled hard work, kindness and love to his family and friends. He was deeply loved by his family, hoping to continue his values and traditions for many generations to come. Mr. Register is survived by his wife Mrs. Betty Chambless Register of Rentz, son Garry B. Register (Pat) of East Dublin, two daughters Donna R. Dent and Traci R. Smith of Rentz, seven grandchildren, Kelli McDaniel (Flint), Kayla Register, Candi Dean, Melissa Tyree, Whitney Brannen (Jamie), Kyle Smith (Makayla), and Dylan Smith, and seven great-grandchildren, Maddie McDaniel, Julian McDaniel, Blaire McDaniel, Brylee Dean, Gatlin Dean, Brylee Tyree and Phillip Brannen Pallbearers will be Kyle Smith, Dylan Smith, Durell Woodard, Andy Colter, Flint McDaniel and Paul Brown. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
