Buster Pournell

Funeral services for Mr. Buster Pournell, age 70, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jeanette Caneega and Mr. Michael Caneega will officiate. Mr. Pournell was born August 17, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late William & Ruby Green Pournell. He was a self-employed carpenter and painter. Mr. Pournell passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He is survived by three sisters, Freida (Earnest) Watkins of Wrightsville, Frances (Glenn) Holley of Liberty, SC and Veronica Boyles of Charleston, West Virginia and three special friends, Jeanette Caneega, Michael Caneega and Joe Gibson. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
