Caroline Davis Horton

Graveside funeral services for Caroline Davis Horton, age 87 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Northview Cemetery. Mr. Sammy Moore will officiate. Mrs. Horton was born January 9, 1934 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Lawton and Alma Rozier Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Horton, her granddaughter, Em Ladson, and 3 sisters, Callie Davis Frost, Mary Eugenia Davis, and Sara Davis Savage. She was retired from Middle Georgia Radiology. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin where she was a member of the Winsome Sunday School Class. Mrs. Horton passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Horton is survived by her son, Charles Gus (Lee) Ladson; 2 daughters, Kay Ladson (Sammy) Moore, and Robin Ladson (Greg) Brooks; 9 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scrap Ladson, Shep Ladson, Gus Ladson, Austin Brooks, Wes Brooks, Chad Tripp, Joseph Teston, Tom Williams, and Chad Churchwell. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
