Carolyn Fincher

Mrs. Carolyn Louise Fincher, age 62, passed away Wednesday September 2, 2015 at her home. Known as a loving mother and wife, she found most of her joy bragging about her grandchildren, babysitting and could more often than not be seen with a cup of coffee in hand. She had a fondness for traveling to the mountains but her favorite destination was Hilton Head Island. She was born November 23, 1952 in Americus Georgia but has made her home in Scott for many years. She was retired from B.E. & K as a pipefitter. She is survived by her husband, Charlie "Peaches" Fincher of Scott, two sons, Trey Pittman of Auburn, AL and Ricky Fincher of Wrightsville, a daughter, Tiffany Carter of Wrightsville, three grandchildren, Grayson Tyler Fincher, Katie Brooke Carter and Taylor Kyle Carter, five step-children, Kathy Holt of New Bern, NC, Micky Charles Fincher of Lothair, Tammy Shock of Thomaston, Tim Fincher of East Dublin and Tony Fincher of Jacksonville, NC, a brother, Billy Storey of Thomaston, two sisters, Shirley Brown of Thomaston and Patricia Bruce of Cochran and numerous step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren who she has always loved as her own. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
