Carolyn Martin Loftin

Funeral services for Carolyn M. Loftin, age 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Sonny Wilkes will officiate.

Mrs. Loftin was born on March 29, 1944, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a lifelong resident of Wrightsville, Georgia, where she was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. Mrs. Loftin was a former employee of J.P. Stevens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Annie Mae Moore Martin; husband, Thomas Loftin; three brothers, Charles Martin, Harold Martin and Nolan Martin; and a sister, Norma Raines McCall. Mrs. Loftin passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta.

Mrs. Loftin is survived by her sister, Julia Hall of Augusta; sister-in-law, Alma Martin of Wrightsville; several nieces and nephews and her special friend and caretaker, Beatrice Brown.

Pallbearers will be David Norris, Jamie Clark, Dennis Moore, Chuck Martin, Tyson Clark and Scotty Raines.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
