Funeral services for Carolyn Betty Logue, age 75 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Mr. Jimmy Blizzard will officiate. Mrs. Logue was born August 11, 1943 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lamar and Carrie Bell Blount Claxton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Logue, 2 sons, James Glen Logue, and Lane Claxton Logue, and , 4 brothers, Lovett Claxton, Jimmy Claxton, Vic Claxton, and Franklin Claxton. She was retired from Crown Tech. She was a member of Arline Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Logue passed away, Monday, October 8, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Logue is survived by her son, Tommy (Duuna) Logue of Harrison, a daughter, Carolann (Larry) Powell of Wrightsville, a brother, Jerry (Patsy) Claxton of Wrightsville, 7 grandchildren, Josh Logue, Matt Logue, Wesley Logue, Tyler Powell, Danielle (Austin) Fulghum, Ashley Logue, and Zach Logue, and 1 great-grandchild, Alex Fulghum. Pallbearers will be Matt Logue, Wesley Logue, Josh Logue, Tyler Powell, Austin Fulghum, and Neil Claxton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
