Carolyn Womack Morgan

Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Womack Morgan, age 87, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Dr. Curtis Lysaker officiating. Mrs. Morgan was born on August 5, 1933 in Wilkinson County. She graduated from Brewton High School in 1950. She worked for Southern Bell in both Macon and Atlanta. She was a bookkeeper for Superior Laundry for many years and retired from Allen Bradley in 1998. Carolyn enjoyed cooking delicious meals, especially her homemade biscuits, which she was known for, and spending time with family. She was always there for her precious family with a listening ear and words of advice. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Womack and Mae Colson Womack, husband, Jack Morgan, two sons, Timothy Morgan and Rusty Morgan, sisters, Joyce Vinson, Barbara Womack, and brother, Larry Womack. Mrs. Morgan passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Rutledge and her husband Darryl of East Dublin, grandson, and joy of her life, Christopher James Rutledge of East Dublin, and siblings, Naomi Ivey (Glynn deceased) of Prattville, AL, Shirley Terry (Ralph deceased)of Hazlehurst, Peggy Witsell (Ralph) of Lake Oswego, OR, Jim Womack (Fran) of Huntersville, NC, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Morgan's residence, 1014 South Lake Dr., East Dublin, after the service. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
