Carolyn Louise Scungio

Carolyn Louise Scungio, age 77, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Dublinair Nursing Home. Mrs. Scungio was born January 29, 1942 in Washington, DC. She lived in North Carolina before moving to Dublin four years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents William R. Abbott and Margaret Hout Abbott, and her husband Joseph D. Scungio Sr. She is survived by a son, Joseph Donald Scungio, Jr. of Harrison, and two daughters Debra Lynn Malley of Newmanstown, PA and Natalie Ann Gooch of Harrison, 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on a later date. She will be laid to rest in the Georgia Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
