Carolyn Tripp

Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Elder Tripp, age 94, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Douglas City Cemetery in Douglas, Georgia. Rev. Jim Fennell will officiate. Mrs. Tripp was born September 5, 1920 in Douglas, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Herbert Toombs Elder and Lucy Gertrude Philips Elder and her husband, King David Tripp, Jr. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Douglas and was retired as a bookkeeper for Williams Insurance Company. Mrs. Tripp passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015. She is survived by her step-daughter, Jane Adcock of Dublin and her step-son, Tommy Tripp of Edgefield, South Carolina. Stanley Funeral Home & Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
